Our client provide a range of high-quality IT services & solutions across the Fife and Tayside regions. As well as entering full-time employment, this vacancy also allows you the chance to undertake a Diploma for IT Professionals. This is a work based diploma, which also includes class-room based elements, that results in an industry recognised qualification and various Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications.As an Apprentice IT Engineer, you will play a key role in providing technical support and guidance to a range of clients across various sites.Day to Day Activities:-Onsite installations of PCs, Printers, Setting up Wi-Fi networks, Cable Running etc.-Fixing of general faults on site / remotely such as virus detection and clearing etc. (estimate of 75% residential clients, 25% business clients)-Covering most of Central Scotland – mainly Fife and Dundee but also including Glasgow, Edinburgh and PerthDue to the growth of the business and the current level of work, our client are keen to bring on board a talented individual who already has some practical experience in the IT sector.Essential skills/requirements:-Minimum of 1 years’ experience-Driving licence (company van will be supplied)-Be able to work autonomously (will be mentored initially)-Lives reasonably local (Kirkcaldy, St Andrews, Dunfermline etc.)Benefits:-Given a work Laptop and Work Phone-Supplied with Van that can be used for all business and also to and from work (petrol will be covered)-Good progression and wide wealth of experience can be gainedSalary – £15k – 16k (DOE) with progressionApply:Please apply via the ‘Apply’ function.If you have any issues applying, or have any questions relating to this opportunity, please contact the Apprenticeship Recruitment Team on 01786 478 478.
